Auto Tutor, an implementation of Conversation-Based Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS)

讲座内容：Auto Tutor started as a flagship application atthe Institute of Intelligent Systems (IIS) of the University of Memphis 20years ago. In the past 20 years, there have been major research funding on AutoTutor Research and Development (Over $35 Million US Federal Funding). In thistalk, I will talk about three aspects of Auto Tutor: 1) selected cognitivetheories of learning that served as theoretical foundations of Auto Tutor, 2)Enabling technologies that make Auto Tutor work, 3) Example applications ofAuto Tutor in different domains. At the end, It is expected the audiences cancreate his/her own auto tutor.
